We are delighted to gather for the 16th Annual Campaign for Legal Services Kickoff Breakfast at Southern New Hampshire University, located at 75 South Commercial Street in Manchester.
Registration opens at 7:15 AM. The program will begin promptly at 8:00 AM.
This treasured event, our largest fundraiser of the year, brings together leaders and advocates who believe that justice must be accessible to all. At a time when changes in federal funding threaten to leave thousands without the help they need, your support ensures that New Hampshire families facing civil legal crises are not left to navigate them alone. More than twelve thousand Granite Staters seek legal aid each year, and your partnership helps close the growing justice gap.
This year, we are honored to present the John E. Tobin, Jr. Justice Award to The Honorable Gary E. Hicks, Senior Associate Justice (Retired) of the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
Justice Hicks retired in 2024 after more than two decades on the Supreme Court and a lifetime of service to New Hampshire’s legal community. A North Country native, he built a distinguished career grounded in integrity, humility, and a deep commitment to public service. Before his appointment to the Superior Court in 2001 and the Supreme Court in 2006, he served as a commercial litigator, clerked for Chief Justice Frank Rowe Kenison, and held leadership roles within the American Inns of Court and the St. Paul’s School Advanced Studies Program. Widely admired for his mentorship, professionalism, and dedication to equal justice, Justice Hicks exemplifies the values of the Tobin Award and the mission of civil legal aid: fairness, compassion, and ensuring that the justice system works for everyone.

The parking garage address is best if you are utilizing a navigation system. The address of the office space is 55 So. Commercial Street. The 2 buildings are connected.
Please enter the SNHU Parking Garage and take a ticket at the entrance gate to enter. You will not need to have the ticket validated or pay to exit. The exit gate will be up.
Proceed up the ramp to any available garage level. The 2nd floor level has access to a glass bridge connector to the SNHU Millyard building. Park in any unmarked parking space then proceed to the glass bridge connector on the second floor of the garage. (You will see a SNHU Main Entrance sign)
