Join us on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 to celebrate 25 years of collaboration in support of civil legal aid in New Hampshire!

We are delighted to celebrate this milestone with the 15th Annual Campaign for Legal Services Kickoff Breakfast at the Grappone Center (70 Constitution Ave in Concord).

Registration will begin at 7:00 AM. The program starts at 8:00 AM sharp and we'll have you on your way by 9:00 AM!

This treasured event, our biggest fundraiser of the year, will highlight the longstanding bipartisan support for access to justice in New Hampshire. The Kickoff Breakfast will feature a keynote address by Governor Kelly Ayotte.

It will also include a presentation of the John E. Tobin, Jr. Justice Award to Nina Gardner in recognition of her exceptional contributions to improving the state's legal system and ensuring people with low income have lawyers when they need them. Some of Nina's accomplishments include the following:

• Leadership at the New Hampshire Judicial Council: Since 1988, Nina has led the Council as its Executive Director and later as its Chair. In this role, Nina has overseen state funding for both civil legal aid and indigent defense.
• Pioneering the Circuit Court Family Division: Nina played a key role in the creation of the Circuit Court Family Division, an important development improving the accessibility and efficiency of the state's family court system.
• Service at the New Hampshire Bar Foundation: As a Board Member of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, the state's largest private funder of civil legal aid, Nina has directly supported and expanded access to representation in civil cases.
• Mentorship: Nina has been a passionate advocate for justice, mentoring generations of civil aid leaders, ensuring a legacy of strong, effective leadership in the field.
• Civic Engagement: Beyond her professional achievements, Nina has been an active member of her community, contributing her time and expertise to the State Board of Medicine and the Sanbornton School District.
